Another afternoon tea recommendation!!!
This was a birthday treat for some family members and we spent the day at Barnham Broom visiting the spa followed by an afternoon tea. We prebooked this and warned them of the need for a gluten free afternoon tea for a coeliac. They said this would be no problem and they could cater for me, and they definitely could!!
When the afternoon tea came out, the gluten free afternoon tea came on a separate platter, away from the normal afternoon teas. As you can see from the picture, I had separate ham and cheese sandwiches, that I requested. I had 2 scones with cream and jam, and a selection of mini cakes and a macaroon. The bread was delicious, and the rest of the afternoon tea went down a treat!!
They were very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to cater for a coeliac!! I had no reaction from this meal and I would highly recommend.
