The closest fish and chip shop to me is The Three Cottages in North Walsham- Norfolk. They are brilliant!! We phone up with our order and let them know that we are a gluten free customer and they let the other staff know. They advise how long its going to be which is never longer than half an hour. They cook all the gluten free food separately, to prevent any cross contamination. They even put the gluten free fish and chips in one carrier bag, and the muggle food in another bag!! This just shows how good their knowledge is and how hard they try to prevent contamination! They even know me by name, due to how much I love their fish and chips!! Defo Recommend!!
My go to fish and chips in Cromer, is No.1. They are right by the sea front and very close to the pier, making them an easy option for a nice summers day, or typical English weather, a nice walk in the rain!!!
Once again, they ensure that everything is cooked in separate fryers so that they reduce the risk of cross contamination. There is also a restaurant as well as takeaway!!
I have never had a problem with either of these fish and chip shops and I have eaten at both, many times.
Definitely worth a visit!
