Quick and Easy Gluten free Carbonara:

The ingredients I used to make this carbonara: 

  1. - Dolmio stir in carbonara sauce 

  2. - Extra mature British cheddar- by Sainsburys 

  3. -Smoked ham- Lidl 

  4. -Free from by Sainsburys Fusilli Pasta

Step 1:

Boil your Gluten Free Pasta on the hob. When pasta is soft, drain and rinse. 

Cut up your smoked ham. I bought this from Lidl. Lots of their ham is gluten free, just check the back of the packet to ensure there is no Wheat, Barley or Rye. Take a look at my guidance on reading ingredients lists.

Grate your cheese. Most cheese is gluten free, so once again just make sure to check the packet, to ensure all the ingredients are gluten free. 

Pour in your Dolmio stir in sauce. I have also used the large pasta bake sauce from Dolmio, in previous pasta dishes. I also use the tomato flavoured pasta sauce from Dolmio for spaghetti bolognese. Be sure to check the ingredients lists of all sauces before using them.

Allow the sauce to simmer and then add your cheese and ham. Ensure the sauce and pasta is warm throughout and serve. I love to eat mine with some gluten free garlic bread found in the freezer aisle of Sainsbury's. Enjoy!!!

This is a very quick and easy meal to make with lots of naturally gluten free items!! Just be sure to check the ingredients lists before using any of the products in your meals :)
